Pool Closings
As the warm Minnesota summer winds down, it’s time to prepare your pool for the off-season. Appointments fill quickly! Call 3–4 weeks in advance of your desired closing date to guarantee your spot. All closings are first come, first served, and all customers must call to confirm their end-of-season service.

We ask that all customers complete a few simple prep steps before our team arrives to close your pool for the season. This helps ensure a smooth, efficient service appointment.
Auto Cover Pools:
- Keep pool at normal water level
- Have winter plugs and skimmer tubes out and ready
- When/if draining your pool, remember to shut skimmer valves while draining.
Mesh Cover Pools:
- Water needs to be drained to 6 inches below skimmers
- Have winter plugs and skimmer tubes out and ready
- When/if draining your pool, remember to shut skimmer valves while draining.
Waterbag Cover Pools:
- Water needs to be drained to 1 inch below skimmers
- Have winter plugs and skimmer tubes out and ready
- When/if draining your pool, remember to shut skimmer valves while draining.
All Other Pools:
- Have winter plugs and skimmer tubes out and ready
- When/if draining your pool, remember to shut skimmer valves while draining.
* If you’re not enrolled in our chemical service, winterizing chemicals will not be added during your closing appointment. Our closing crew does not carry these on-site. However, they are available for purchase at our retail store in Andover.

How far in advance should I schedule a pool closing?
We recommend calling 3–4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred closing date. Closings are scheduled on a first come, first served basis and book up quickly in the fall.
What’s included in a standard pool closing?
Our closing service includes winterizing your pool’s plumbing and equipment, adding anti-freeze, blowing out and plugging lines, and removing accessories. Additional options like spa closings and cover installs are available for an extra fee.
Do you offer same-day repair service?
In many cases, yes! Our trucks are fully stocked with most common parts, allowing us to complete same-day repairs for pumps, motors, filters, and heaters.
